Amazing things are happening in the field of alternative medicine! Pennsylvania's Governor, Tom Wolf, signs a bill that regulates alternative medicine by allowing Naturopathic Doctors who have completed a naturopathic graduate program at an accredited college to register with the state. As of January 1, 2018, ND's will have more employment options and patients will have more alternative medical options. Seems to me like everyone wins! As many who have already chosen to use ND's know the out of pocket fees can be expensive. Most health insurances don't cover visits to ND's so this new bill can help revolutionize health insurance for alternative medicine.

I'm sooooo looking forward to a future where our entire country recognizes naturopathic medicine. (I wonder how large pharmaceutical companies are going to feel). We should have options and those options should not be dictated by our socioeconomic status. Here are the other states that acknowledge naturopathic doctors:
